Pelargonium aridum
An elegant pelargonium with delicate finely divided green to brownish green leaves and pale yellow flowers with each flowering stork containing up to five flowers.
Pelargonium aridum is a low growing semi succulent tufted plant that grows to about 30 cm/12 inches in height with a large underground tuberous root & is deciduous in Winter.
This plant prefers slightly sandy soil conditions in part shade, in a medium sized pot preferably on the window sill or grown underneath larger plants in the garden.

Pelargonium Capitatum
The scented leaf pelargonium P. captatum was greatly admired by the Victorians who included them in bouquets, pot-pourri, flavouring deserts and also in jellies & cakes.
P. capitatum has delicate rose scented ovate crinkled leaves with a soft texture and a sweet fragrance is released when bruised. The flowers are arranged in an inflorescence of about 10-20 flowers and are mauve pink in colour. Essential oils can be extracted from its leaves by steam distillation, it originates from South Africa in sandy areas & grows to a low shrub, about 100 cm in height which is ideal for a medium to large pots or planted in the garden.

Pelargonium australe has long elegant flowering stems with up to twelve white to light pink flowers and darker markings on both the upper & lower petals which is native to Australia.

Birch leaved pelargonium
A beautiful pelargonium with a natural charm, The leaves are slightly camphor scented and resemble that of a birch leaf which are ovate & toothed. The flowers are pink or purple with purple markings on the upper petals & each flowering stalk has about 3-4 flowers.
P. betulinum is an upright slightly woody shrub-let which grows to about 130 cm/51 inches in height and prefers slightly sandy soil conditions in full sun to part shade.
