Pelargonium betulinum is an upright slightly woody shrublet which grows to about 130 cm (51 inches) in height, The leaves are small ovate & toothed with large pink to purple flowers and purple markings on the upper petals
This plant is native to the Western coast of South Africa in sandy areas from Yzerfontein to Knysna which has rainfall in winter.
Pelargonium betulinum prefers well drained slightly sandy soil conditions (PH.Neutral)in full sun to part shade. Best planted in the garden in a sheltered place or grown in larger pots.
